The Yukimurasaki in Takayama is a cozy and welcoming hotel. The staff treats you like family - making your stay feel familiar and comfortable. The food is absolutely amazing - with delicious and delightful flavors. The hotel's location is convenient - right next to a Nohi bus stop, and it's only a short ride away from the ropeway. The view from the hotel is beautiful - especially during the fall season when the leaves change color. it's a clean and enjoyable place to stay.
Can't recommend highly enough.

We were there for 1 night and felt would book again. Everything was 10/10, favourable location close to the snowy mountains and the bus stop and Shinhotaka Ropeway, nice staff. The room was beautiful, it included central heating, flat-screen television and a refrigerator. There was an exceptionally good view of the street.

Exceptionally comfortable hotel with well-appointed rooms and absolutely fabulous view of the mountains and river. Extra care from the outstandingly accommodating staff. Particularly good the best location, the next area over. Also - very close to the bus stop as well as the mountains. Perfect and outstanding food, great service...

We had an incredible experience at this luxurious 4-star hotel in the charming countryside. The location was perfect, as it was just a few steps away from the Nohi bus stop, making it very convenient to explore the area. The room we stayed in was spacious and elegant, with beautiful traditional tatami flooring. We were delighted to find a private indoor onsen in our room, and we couldn't resist upgrading to a room with a private outdoor onsen overlooking the breathtaking mountain view. The staff, although limited English, were friendly and accommodating, and even went the extra mile to help us with special requests. The bedding area was heated, which was a lovely touch, and the staff would even set up the bed during our dinner, so we returned to a cozy and comfortable room.
For a truly luxurious and relaxing stay, I highly recommend this place. The private hotspring tub in our room was amazing, and they also offered open-air private hotsprings to reserve.

The traditional ryokan experience at Yukimurasaki was truly exceptional. The multi-course dinner and breakfast were delicious and felt like a high-end chef restaurant. The highlight for me was the private indoor onsen in the room and the two open hot private pools that we could reserve for free. The tatami floor throughout the hotel added an authentic touch. The staff even made our futon beds while we were at dinner, ensuring a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a magical stay in the mountains with stunning green views and the sound of a river. We loved the private room baths and reserved times at the two rooftop onsens, which made it easy to relax with family. The fluffy futons and delicious food impressed us. The polite and attentive hosts were a bonus, and we were able to communicate easily in English.
The location was slightly difficult to reach, but it gave us an authentic and wild experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The traditional ryokan experience was a unique and enjoyable aspect of our stay. The multi-course meals served for dinner and breakfast were impressive and significantly contributed to our overall experience. the two baths in our room were exceptional and provided a relaxing way to unwind after a day of travel. The location was also a highlight, as it was close to a notable attraction.
There were also some negative aspects to our stay. The size and quality of the towels provided did not meet our expectations, considering the high price we paid for our room.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The private room baths were excellent, and we also enjoyed the private times at the rooftop onsen, which had a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was polite and attentive, making us feel welcomed right from the start. Additionally, we appreciated the hotel's location right in front of the bus stop, which made transportation to and from the hotel a breeze. The breakfast provided was also delicious and offered a fabulous banquet of many courses.
Nothing negative to say.

The view was amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was also delicious. We could easily catch the bus from right outside the hotel, which was great for getting around the area. Another thing we enjoyed was the bath on the balcony, which was the highlight of the stay.
The room was slightly disappointing. The price did not seem justified as the room condition was not up to par with what we expected.
